I can relate. I have a 19 month Chihuahua and have struggled to find the right dog food he will eat for the last 17 months. He loves people food but this is not the correct method for him. I am looking forward to trying this recipe especially now that I have a new 8 month old Chihuahua female that is anxious to eat everything as she came from a home where the dogs and cats were somewhat neglected. I want both of my babies to eat well and health. I will report back as to their reception of this recipe. Well, this little book has one recipe. I tried it. My Chi did not like it. I guess the only thing I got out of this book was the confirmation that i do indeed have a finicky Chihuahua! Thus the three stars,
Was a waste, one recipe and not enough info to justify even the 1.99.
I thought it was a great book. It was funny and even sad at times. I also have a finicky chihuahua and I can hardly wait to get home to try the recipe.Hope it works, but I won't be surprised if it doesn't. I would also be as surprised as the author if it worked. My dog also loves the sticks with chicken wrapped around them. When they stopped carrying them because of the China scare, I have found a cheap immitation at Walmart. And they are under $5 for 28 stick. My dog loves them. Will write again whr
This isn't the greatest but it is a good read. As a reviewer said, there is only the one recipe, and really no information on how much to feed per day. I'll give it a try and see if my girl Will eat it. Hopefully this will work! I'm running of of ideas!
